Autumn Conference 2017

It’s that time of the year again guys, and YLB has even more in store for you than we did last year. We’ve got a bigger stand than before (number 12 – come say hi). We’re running two whole fringe events. And we’ll be handing out not only the vision statement that 8,000 of you helped us write, but also a strategy pamphlet for how to reinvent the Liberal Democrats, a snazzy flyer (phwoar), and – wait for it – day-by-day summaries of the motions being debated at Conference.

Yes, crazy cats that we are: we decided that Conference motions are often just not that accessible. So we invited the authors of the motions under debate at Conference to write snappy, plain English summaries to help cut through to what’s at stake. We hope they’re useful!

If you like what we’re doing, pop by stand 12 to help us spread the word. If you have ideas for how to change the party, join us in the BIC’s Durley Suite at 1pm on the Saturday, for the Building the Party of Tomorrow fringe event with Paddy Ashdown.

If you heard about our Online Champions work and you’d like to try your hand at some online voter engagement, line yourself up for our Grassroots Digital Canvassing training session, with Mark Pack and the Online Champions team in the Marriott’s Purbeck Suite at 6:15pm on the Saturday.

And if you have ideas for the vital policies we need to help build the Liberal Britain described in our vision statement, come along to our The Road to Liberal Britain fringe event, with Party President Sal Brinton, in the BIC’s Avon Room at 6:15pm on the Monday.

See you all there!
